ICT EvaluationThis is how we will assess students work.These checklists and rubric outline the expectations that each child's blog must meet:
Year: 4
Outcome: Living things including plants and animals depend on each other and the environment to survive
Task: Over four lessons students will develop a wiki page adding information to their page as each lesson goes on. At end of series of four lessons students would have collected a good range of evidence that they have met the criteria of our Australian curriculum outcome.

Student viewed Youtube clip and recorded responses on Stinto.
Student contributed to class wordle and created own, adding it to blog.

Student was not attentive during viewing of Youtube clip and recorded little or no responses on Stinto.
Student did not contribute to class wordle and created little or no word wall of own.
Student rarely participated and was distracted and/or disturbing others.
TASK TWO
Active participation in class discussion.
Zoo information recorded in blog.
Completed journal ‘ A day in the life of…’ on blog. Minimum four paragraphs.

Active listening and speaking, polite to others, raises hand to speak, demonstrates some understanding of content.
Student participated in Skype call and recorded relevant information in blog gained from the Nashville Zoo experience.
Student confidently researched and recorded relevant facts about a specific animal. Student followed the structure of a paragraph and created four of them as per instructions.

Elephant fact sheet is filled out with valid content, spelling and grammar is as good as can be. Relevant information written in blog – five facts.
Satisfactory
Student attempts to participate in activity without disturbing others.
Participates in discussion by demonstrating listening and speaking skills
Majority of the elephant fact sheet is filled out with valid information. Student has attempted to enter relevant information into blog.
Unsatisfactory
Student is not participating and may be disturbing others.
Student does not actively participate in discussion.
Elephant fact sheet is not filled out, blog entries have either not been created or a minimum attempt of completion has been made.
TASK FOUR
